What we collect
We collect only what we need to book your appointment or quote your project:
- Your name, email address and phone number.
- Your vehicle details, or the address and details of the property for a flat-glass inspection.
- Any photos you choose to upload with an inspection request.
- Standard web-server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited).
- How visitors use the site (pages viewed, clicks and scrolling), collected by Microsoft Clarity — see Cookies and analytics below.
- Basic visit counts (visits, page views, load time, time on page, and whether a form was started or sent), collected by AeroSite — see Cookies and analytics below.
How we use it
- To schedule, confirm and carry out your service.
- To contact you about your booking or quote by phone, text or email.
- To keep service records, which also let us verify warranty eligibility later.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone except the service providers we need to run the business:
- TintWiz — the customer-management system behind our automotive quote form. What you enter on that form goes directly to TintWiz, and we use it to send your quote and follow up. TintWiz handles it under its own privacy policy.
- Our online booking provider and our payment processor.
- Microsoft Clarity, for the site analytics described below.
- AeroSite, the company that builds and maintains this website, for the visit counts described below.
Calls and texts
When you tick the consent box on the inspection form, you are agreeing that we may contact you by phone call or text about that request. You can ask us to stop at any time and we will.
Payment information
Card details are handled by our payment processor. A1 Auto Studios does not store your full card number.
Cookies and analytics
We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the site — for example, which pages people visit and where they click — so we can improve it. Clarity uses cookies to do this, and its data is handled under the Microsoft Privacy Statement. We do not use advertising cookies.
AeroSite, the company that maintains this website, also counts visits, page views, page load time, time on page, and whether a form was started or sent, so we can see how the site is performing. It does not use cookies, does not collect your name or contact details, and never reads what you type into a form. It turns itself off if your browser sends a Do Not Track signal.
Embedded content — the TintWiz quote form, the Google Maps frame and our booking system — may set their own cookies, governed by their privacy policies rather than ours.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email contact@a1autostudios.com. Note that we may need to keep basic service records to honour warranty claims.
